Adolescent Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program

Adolescent Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Programs provide quality professional services in an outpatient setting for youth, ages 12-18 who use and misuse substances. A variety of services are available to assist the youth achieve independence and recovery. On-site outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment services are based on the individual’s needs and assessment. Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient provide the following services:

• Assessment
• Care Coordination
• Counseling (individual and group)
• Family Therapy
• Medication Services
• MAT for OUD
• MAT for AUD and other non-opioid SUD
• Patient Education
• Recovery Services
• SUD Crisis Intervention Services
• Ambulatory Withdrawal Management

Other additional services:
SUD Treatment Programs provide recovery incentives services also known as Contingency Management which is an evidence-based treatment approach for Medi-Cal participants with a stimulant use disorder. The Recovery Incentives Program is a 24-week treatment focusing on reinforcing positive behavior change and meeting treatment goals such recovery adherence. Participants are provided with small gift cards for not using any stimulant drugs that is measured by negative drug tests twice a week for 12 weeks and once a week for the remainder 12 weeks. Participants are rewarded for changing their behavior and receive ongoing support on their path to recovery

Recovery Incentives Program

Juvenile Hall Services
Services provided include individual and group counseling to youth detained at the Imperial County Probation/Corrections Juvenile Hall. Services are provided by a SUD Counselor or Behavioral Health Therapist who conducts alcohol and other drug screening, counseling, care coordination, and prevention services at the Juvenile Hall facility. Upon the youths’ release from Juvenile Hall, they are linked to the outpatient SUD treatment programs, in which they will be assessed to determine the appropriate level of care for ongoing treatment.

Additionally, Adolescent SUD Treatment Program offers residential treatment services.
